Who We Are

In the early 1990’s communicators for women religious congregations were asked by LCWR Region 1 Leadership to gather together to:

  • Get to know one another
  • Form a loose association of colleagues
  • Share experiences
  • Be a support to vocation personnel.

The New England Communicators Network for Women Religious formalized itself with officers, dues, regular meetings, and initiated projects representative of the entire group.

Some of us joined the National Communicators Network for Women Religious, NCNWR.

Our members are represented by photographers, communication coordinators, public relations personnel, IT professionals, writers, newsletter editors, development directors, administrators, leadership team members, secretaries, vocation personnel, UN-NGO representatives and much more.
